honestly, just go through recruitment and form your own opinions about the chapters. everyone has something bad to say about every chapter regardless of the tier so its better to just go in without other ppl's opinions in your head. recruitment is about you and what you want from a chapter

The bottom tier houses axo, kappa , phi mu , sk, alpha phi , gamma phi are all good house. Keep an open mind.

Phi mu is super super involved, i dropped them during rush but remember the girls I talked to seemed really sweet.

Kappa, Gphi and phi mu probably have the best reputations of the bottom tier. All of them kind of have a similar reputation. Overall they are all really sweet girls with slight variations in personality/vibe. Kappa is like happy outgoing Christian girls. Gphi is more fun girls with a ton of diverse personalities. And phi mu is just sweet and dedicated and passionate about their philanthropy.

Of this group, I would consider kappa the best.

Do not sell yourself short just because you are an upperclassman. I rush as a junior transfer student . I preffed at a true top and a great middle tier house. You do not have to go bottom tier unless that is what you want. All
The houses at UF are unique and something to offer.

There were a good deal of juniors that have been in AOPI’s last few MC’s. You have to be practically a model though or have something good to offer. Known for being a chill and fun sorority, really well liked. Not the best choice if you are not a social person and don’t like going out. If you’re looking for a social sorority and think you could get in, I’d rush there.

any of the chapters at UF have something to offer! Theres great girls in every house no matter what rank they are. with that being said if you are interested in the lower tier sororities- I personally would do aphi (fun, trendy & on the rise w new house being built), phi mu (very involved on campus & close knit) , or kkg (sweet girls w/ pretty good reputation/relations). Each has there benefits and cons. & it doesnt mean SK gphi and aephi arent great too! its just my personal view

(being a junior doesnt mean other houses wont pick u up btw so keep an open mind)

Each chapter literally has to take a certain number of juniors/sophomores/freshman, so don’t count yourself out of any chapter you like. You won’t get dropped just because you’re a junior, I honestly loved talking to older girls when I was a rusher bc they seemed more comfortable & confident
