Rush 2021 help pleaseeee

this is for current or former srat members! I’m rushing in fall and want to know how I’m being ranked, like do my looks really matter and for round 1 does the whole chapter watch my video ?? So confused

The way each house votes/ranks is a secret but I can tell you they will look at your looks, the way you present yourself etc. Top houses have to drop the most each round.

Just be yourself and you will find the house for you.

in my house, only bump group leaders watched the videos. but some of them would have their friends watching videos with them and judging which i didn’t think was cool..

We all vote. Friends of sisters have decent Chance. I was almost dropped when Miss UF spoke up for me. I did not know her but her best friend rushed me and loved me! She said to keep me. You just do not know. You have to be a fit! Good houses in all the tiers. I went wanting the house I got a bid too!

Every sorority has a different process, but I don’t think it’s common for a video to be watched by the whole chapter. I won’t lie, looks do matter during rush but think of it more about your style and how you present yourself.

For the video, try to talk about something you are really passionate about. The more authentic you are the better chance you will find the right sorority. But videos are n’t make or break AT ALL.
