How does a house move up in the ranks?

most ranks (at least for sororities) have been the way they are and will be that way probably forever. the reason is that the “tier system” was made a long time ago and sororities don’t rly get kicked off or in trouble frequently enough to affect the ranks. frats on the other hand get suspended and lose pledge classes every year. this is why u see so many different fraternities moving into the top tier/upper mid range. yeard ago ZBT was an amazing fraternity and Beta was awful, clearly thats not the case anymore. theta chi used to pair with dz and pi phi now they paired with kd and aoii the last two years. things can change fast for fraternities but sororities will always be the same pretty much.. adpi zta kd are the historicaly top ones, dg aoii tridelt and theta all have had times where theyre top and others where theyre more upper mid, dz xo pi phi deeph all consistently below them, etc
