i have a dilemma
by: HelpMy mom iis an adpi At Uf. I have two older sisters. One is an active member of ZTa and my oldest sister was im Tri delta. I rush this fall and preffed at Zta and a great middle tier house . I did not get invited back to Adpi after sisterhood and Tri delt after round one. I got. Bid from ZTA. I dropped them before I was initiated. I just did not feel I fit in. I am more studious and do not party much. I want to rush again in the fall. My sister is so embarrassed on what I did at ZTA. ZTA is a wonderful house but it is just just not for me. I really want a bid to Adpi. . My mother has reached out to the rush chair again and put in a good word for me. My mistake was taking the bid from ZETA. Do I have a chance at all? What do you think? This is a serious question.

You do have connections but that is not a guarantee at all. A legacy means nothing at some houses but it does at Adpi. Adpi is the toughest house to get a bid from, Period. Try to meet some of the girls. You may have already been black listed . Girls talk and adpi and zta’s are friends!

You do not crap. As a senior I know girls in my house that dropped before being initiated . Many actually over the last 3 years. Most of them rushed the the next fall and got a bid from another houses, it happens a lot! It is no bad reflection on the house they dropped. It happens in all of the tiers . I seriously doubt people are lying about this. One of my NF’s did this at UF two years ago. She is not a troll!

I accepted a bid from Phi mu. Great house, great girls. I just did not fit in at phi mu. I am a minority and a average in looks but heavy for being 20 years old. I am honest ! Rushed the following fall) this was two years ago-and accepted a bid from SK. No one was judging me, I knew I would only get a bid from the lower tier houses. I also loved axo and kappa. Both houses have over weight girls. I love SK, living in the house, made the ex board too. There are HAPPY endings after all!

This is 100 percent the truth. I am in phi mu and I know this girl. She is a very very nice person, I am glad she found her home,

Rush next fall. No guarantee thought, I rushed my freshman year and dropped out before preffed. Rushed my sophomore year. Preffed at Dg, xo and zeta. Thought I was going to get a bid from DG. I ended up getting a bid to Xo. I was upset at first, but ended up loving Xo. I never thought I would end up there. Lesson learned rush with an open mind.
