But these 3 fraternities have geed ass nationals who are all trying to enforce completely dry fraternities and plan on sending live in advisors to each house

The purpose of our SigEp chapter is to find men who share the Fraternity’s principles and to develop them into Balanced Men who will be the next generation of values-based leaders. Drinking really plays no role in that mission, and frankly, data from higher education researchers shows that it actively works against a chapter's ability to do so.

The fear that so many fraternities are showing towards live-in mentors is shocking. SigEp’s Residential Learning Community complements the Balanced Man Program by advocating strong personal and academic development programming, daily mentorship, and a supportive living and learning environment. The RLC at UF shows that students benefit from the presence of a resident scholar and a faculty member who take an active interest in their lives. This learning community concept is descended from the residential colleges at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford. Our RLC fosters the development of positive, healthy habits rather than destructive traits of a “frat boy.”

SigEp knows that brotherhood built on shared social experience and camaraderie can be life-changing for the better. However, SigEp's research shows that depending too much on shared social experiences can produce a chapter of brothers who care only about fun and are overly aware of social status.

Beta and SAE nationals website confirms that all chapter houses have to be substance free by 2020 this was due to promises made to families by deaths that both fraternities had nationally over the past few years
And if you think that beta and SAE are gonna risk more bad PR after the full transition in 2020 by not pulling charters and sending live in advisors you’re an idiot
