tbh i am going to be straight up with you.. going through rush is going to be pretty annoying if you’re not a freshman. Sophomores do well during rush too but facts is your pledge class will be probably like at least 50-60% freshman The majority of ur pc will be 18 year olds with different priorities. I rushed as a sophomore and made friends in my chapter but felt really alienated from my pledge class and made friends in different pc’s. Unfortunately tho, a lot of girls struggle to get to know the older girls as friend groups are pretty set in stone by that point. sororities are just set up differently than frats, so while being older you can still get a bid, it’s definitely not preferable. sororities give bids with the intent on having you for the rest of your college career, so a girl they can have only for a year or a 24 year old junior is not preferable. depending on ur age, i’d recommend rushing alpha phi
