is it normal for junior transfer girls to rush?

Not a lot of juniors do formal recruitment bc it’s harder to get a bid than when you’re a freshman/sophomore. As a non-freshman, you will be placed in the same pool as sophomores, but this helps sophomores who rush more than juniors. The juniors i know that got bids seem to mostly be transfers, and they went everywhere from ZTA to kd to pi phi to dz to gamma phi, so don’t be discouraged ... if you’re a good fit you will get a bid! Just remember that you’re going to have a lot of competition, so REALLY sell yourself and I’d emphasize any involvement you do have.

Normally junior transfers were already in a sorority at their own school. I’ve heard of a few rushing. Just be open and honest and you will still get a bid
