Get involved summer b have something to talk about

Sororities have a variety of different styles and personalities but overall they do pick girls who are similar to themselves. On the surface level, look at their social media and physically give off a similar look. You don’t need to have a spray tan but I would recommend having your nails done and keep your hair nice. It’s hot so maybe keep a small mirror and blot your face so you aren’t too sweaty. Dress to your personal style. For the top houses, they usually dress trendier over preppy. During rush your appearance is important but it’s also just as important to click with the girl who is rushing you. Have interesting things to talk about. She’ll probably ask you why you decided to rush and what you did over the summer. Talk about involvement and ask her what she’s involved in and what she likes about being her chapter. If you are really passionate about something like your major or some organization you’re a part of, talk about that too.

Be yourself. Know your strengths. Know what you are passionate about. Know what you want to get involved in at UF. Talk about something cool you did over the summer. Don’t complain about rush to who is rushing you, we all know that it is hot and it sucks. Be excited and friendly. Always seem interested and help a girl carry a conversation. Ask SPECIFIC questions about the chapter that you are in. Give every house a chance! You might be surprised!! Good luck!
