top tier obsession

I don't get the obsession over top tiers. When I rushed, I preffed a house that everyone on here is obsessed with and a midtier.

I have a few HS friends in the top tier that were really trying to push me towards their house. There wasn't anything wrong with it but it didn't instantly click for me like the midtier did. Tbh, I agonized over my decision even though I knew the midtier house would make me happy. Would I ruin my friendships with some HS friends, would I miss out on the status, etc.

Anyway, I joined the midtier house and I am so happy I made that decision because i've found my best friends and I feel truly at home here. That's not to say that girls won't find their home in top tier but for me, I knew this house was it. I'm still friends with my friends in the top tier house i didn't join but i think i would've been stuck in their clique had I joined.

If you want to join top tier for parties and perceived status, you're going to waste your time and money. Join where you feel at home.
