mandatory fraternity rush orientation

Why did the IFC add the mandatory orientation to Spring rush followed by the bused tour of all fraternities? I was thinking about going through rush, but I don't want to waste a day seeing fraternities that I know I'm not interested in.

nobody 100% gets a bid LMAO around 200 girls are released from recruitment every year, aka no bid anywhere.

Because a lot of guys have to rush 2 semesters because the first they don’t get a bid. So now, guys can figure out where to go and where they fit in and more guys will join frats

It allows rushees to see houses they normally wouldn't consider or have heard of, giving them more options and a better chance of finding a good fit.
