Formal events on Friday are usually invite only for the people they have extended bids to. But they could still be open.

DU will be open briefly tonight starting at 8. The steak dinner is invite only but you can come before and try to make an impression.

Dress code if you're invited to dinner is formal but if you come at 8 it doesn't matter, just look good.

You know what, I appreciate the info, but I feel like I wouldn't be able to get to know the guys well enough to make a good decision.

I think I'll wait for spring rush and do it the right way.

No worries man, we're a smaller fraternity so you could get to know most of the brothers in a few hours. Feel free to come early if you change your mind.

Honestly, for those who did not get a bid(s), your best bet is to wait for Spring Rush. But keep in mind that there maybe a few Fraternities the probably will not hold Spring Rush, depending on the outcome of their Fall Rush and/or how many members they will be losing to graduation.
