tiers and explanations

Top:
ZTA & ADPi - These two chapters are indisputably the top chapters. They are the most sought after houses. Both houses are equal in their appeal to PNMs and I don't really think one is better than the other.

Lower top:
DDD & KD
DDD - continues to have outstanding PCs and is a sought after house. Definitely a top tier but not on the level of ZTA or ADPi.
KD - this chapter had some missteps in the past several years and had to offer snap bids because they did not meet quota on bid day. This is not a knock, it can happen to the best of them. As a result, the house has slipped a little. However, this year they had a strong recruitment.

Top of Middle:
DG, AOPI, Pi Phi
DG - PCs are have been a hot mess lately. They are still a great chapter but just a little off and so falling in stature within the Greek community
AOPi- a number of strong PCs in the past year almost brought them to top tier status but this year's PC not as strong for them.
Pi Phi - over the past several years, Pi Phi has taken better and better PCs. I think they should now be considered in conversations with these other 2 houses.

Middle:
KAT, Deeph, XO, DZ (I don't see one house being better than the other in this grouping. Each house appeals to a different type)
KAT- past three years have been off recruiting years for this house. Pi Phi has definitely surpassed them and I think KAT has dropped to middle tier status.
Deeph- still strong recruiting for this house but appeals to a certain type of PNM. Deeph will always find their niche but did seem to lose some top girls to DG and AOPi this year
XO- solid house, not much changing for them
DZ - again solid house, had a strong PC this year

Lower Middle
KKG, AXO, Phi Mu (again not much difference in the quality of the PCs in these three houses. KKG and Phi Mu generally considered slightly more southern and AXO trendier)
AXO - despite all the hate somebody has been heaping on them, they are really pretty, involved in campus and have a strong sisterhood
KKG - I don't see this hug gap that people have been pushing between AXO and KKG. Just a little different vibe. Had a great PC this year but not enough quality PCs to pull them out of lower middle. Again strong sisterhood
Phi Mu - For the past several years, their PCs have gotten better and better. I think they deserve to be mentioned with these two houses. Better grades + better social rotation = better PCs. Also known for their strong sisterhood.

Lower:
GPhi, SK, AEPhi
GPhi - Over quota this year with additions. Hopefully they can hold onto most of the PC while waiting for their new house to be built.
SK- Solid PC this year but still stuck in bottom due to grades, sisterhood issues, and social rotation
AEPHI - I'm not sure what happened to them this year with recruitment. Snap bids are not a good sign. Very good sisterhood and smart. Poor social rotation hurts them with PNMs.
