Aw, I am so sorry. May I ask why you are unhappy? Maybe it is 'fixable'! Just out of curiosity, what tier? The only reason I'm asking is some in top feel a little intimidated and some in bottom feel a little superior.

How long have you been in it?

No matter what type of experience we're talking about (school, job, activity, sorority...) you haven't given it nearly enough time.

hi!!! u can drop and rush again next fall!! you just need to decide before youre intitiated. its okay to drop, many girls do and maybe a year without greeklife (which is what i did) will make your decision next year easier!!

Me and a couple of my friends are also thinking about dropping but we are going to give it 2 more weeks. No support, between DDD & DG, they both seemed so right for either myself or my friends, but now they really do not seem to want to have anything to do with us. We want to stay in Greek life, but think we made the wrong choices, so your not alone, lots of us feel the same way as you!

I feel so lost and alone in ADPI. It is such a sham. No reaching out whatsoever.

I would suggest talking to some older women in the chapter about your concerns. Or even, as lame as it sounds, try reaching out to your Pi Chis. It is normal to not feel 100% comfortable the first couple of weeks but once you find the women you "click" with you might feel a little better. If you are still unhappy drop (hopefully before you get a big) and then you can go through recruitment again next fall.

I would give it as much time as possible. You can drop out up until initiation. A sorority is everything you put into it so make sure to attend all events and keep an open mind when getting to know girls. Rushing again is time consuming and often doesn't yield the results you want - trust me, I did it. I regret not sticking to my first house.

I would talk to some older sisters! The same thing happened to me and seeing how happy the seniors were in my chapter really helped me find my place.

Just drop… Why pay thousands of dollars per semester for something that is forced when there are so many other free opportunities on campus.
