having an officer come up to u while at a party

Is it good sign if an officer, cfo, cro, coo, etc. comes up to u for minute and wishes u luck with recruitment while ur speaking with a hostess

generally, officers may come up to you either (1) to get a "closer look" at you or (2) to make an impression on you because the chapter is interested in you or (3) just to be polite because you are a legacy. OR, a combo of all of these.

I wouldn't look too much into it either way. Focus more on your conversations with the women recruiting you.

sometimes it's good, sometimes it's something random. like, the officer didn't know who to talk to and randomly chose y'all, or the bump person didn't come in time, or something. don't read too much into it.
