advice for pnms listen!

RT this website is so dumb it hurts.

Please expect drops! Some of you may only get a few houses back after round 1. This happens a lot and please go thru the process. Spring rush if it happens AT ALL will be very small and difficult to get in. The best chance you have is NOW. You can wait til sophomore fall rush but you will go one year missing out on Greek life.

If you are unsure about the house that you get a bid from, at least try it and then drop before initiation if you really dont like it. You can then rush again next fall if you still want to. Hopefully this wont happen but so many will come on here discouraged this week that they were dropped. DONT WORRY ABOUT TIERS!

If a house drops you, that does NOT mean that they dont like you. You may have an excellent, meaningful conversation and get dropped. There could be many reasons so dont let it worry you.

Go thru the process and keep your heads up!

Or go home. All the cool peps are in the top houses. Zta, Adpi, Kd, ddd and Dg and Aoii. The top is where all the fun happens.

Definitely stick it out until the very end! It is better to give whatever house you get on bid day a try instead of missing out on it entirely! You may be pleasantly surprised, and if you really hate it you can always drop before initiation and try again next year! Give this week your best effort and follow your heart and impressions and stick it out!

Legacy status by no means ensures a bid
Many PNMs will not have full schedules after round 1
Talk to your Pi Chis!
You don't ' drop' houses. You rank them. Many PNMs will have their lower ranked chapters on their schedules
Give all the chapters a chance!
