top tier houses

They have connections after graduation. The attorney general for the State of Florida was a DDD at uf. Adpi at uf had a governers wife and her daughters. Tim Tenows mom and sister were Adpi's here. Zta has a sportscaster that recently got married as a Zta at Uf. Many Miss Florida's come from kd, Dg , Adpi ,ddd. Try telling someone when you go to law school that you were an axo or an Sk. You will get no response BUT if you tell them you were a ZTA or Adpi at Uf doors will open. The connections you will have for being in the Top tier area substantial. Top tier houses have so many professional connections and many famous people belonged to the TOP tier at UF.. The bottom tier had nothing. Go Big ! Go to the TOP. It will pay off in the long run. Prestige comes from being in the TOP tier.

I have to agree with the original Post. I know for a fact that many women that graduated from the top tier have better connections. Pretty. People make powerful people. Enough said.

who cares about what the ''top tier'' @ UF is like in the real world? Maybe it will matter if you stay in Florida. We all know the best nationally with the most connections are theta, pi phi & kappa

I have repeatedly posted what sorority at UF is the best if you want to go to grad school, ie law or med school and posters here say LOL none Could you please indicate what house turns out people for grad schools, not who gets the most Miss Miami or most UF Dazzlers. Just indicate the academic sororities please so you do not waste PNMs time if there are no houses that are smarter or more academically focused.

Top tier alum here and I will say my sorority status did help me getting hired but law school? I don't think they care about what sorority you are in. I believe it can help with initial connections but after that, you are on your own.

I am in a "top" house and through my house I found an amazing internship that I did receive through a connection. BUT this wasn't because of my status in the tier system. Going greek, no matter what house your in, can bring you connections and influence you very positively. It's ridiculous to think that only top tier girls are successful, especially when we go a school like UF where literally everyone is intelligent.

I think the person writing thus us talking about your connections at UF and their particular chapter in the top tier. No one gives a flip about their national chapters . I am in a middle tier at UF only and I will agree the top tier girls and guys will have the advantage as far as the top tier. The top will dominate the middle and bottom tiers. The top has more influential people.

first, it's the UF connection. Then, it's the Greek connection. Works better if you're in the same sorority, but most business women I've met will help out other Greek women from UF.
