social life of sigep?
by: broim rushing in the fall and really like the fact that they focus on academics but still want to have fun at tailgates and parties. Will they still have them or no? I know they get a lot of hate on here but was curious about the actual social life for them

If your Balance Man Program is suppose to be so great, then why did Sig Ep at Michigan State surrendered their charter and merged with DKE? Word on their Greek row was that the active members refused to follow the BMP and would rather be in a fraternity that is not controlled by the IHQ.

I would say most of the sororities go harder than SigEp. They are just becoming like another Honors Fraternity. Give it time and you'll see girls rushing them, basically the ones that get cut or drop out during recruitment.

In all honesty, if our ban on drinking was the sole reason a potential new member didn't want to join SigEp they likely wouldn't be a good fit for SigEp. Alcohol has become a central focus of fraternity life and we want to demonstrate clearly that SigEp's priorities lie with preparing our men to become confident, values based leaders.

Not many parties first semester so I don't know much about their upperclassmen. But the sophomores and freshman tend to hang out and host pregames with a lot of girls in the top tier on a regular basis. When it comes down to it, they are really nice boys that don't tend to go as hard as the likes of Theta Chi but still love to rage.
