rushing as a junior

Hi all, I went to community college my first 2 years and am now transferring to UF as a junior. I'm just curious as to your opinions on rushing as an upperclassman?

Do you know anyone in any chapters? Have you gotten rec letters (not super important, but help a bit), are you a legacy? Are you gorgeous, really social, super involved, etc? Definitely do it, but you're at a disadvantage. You might face more cuts because of it. Don't be discouraged if that happens! Go in with an open mind, and be happy about any house that invites you back. We have 17 great chapters and I'm sure you'll find somewhere you belong!

I rushed as a junior and ended up in a middle tier house that was my first choice throughout recruitment. I had a really good rush experience so don't let your age stop you.
