You will most definitely get cut from most if not all houses

They want a a 3.0. Also don't lie on your app because my friend last year did that and they can confirm what your real GPA is.

If u have a good personality and seem normal I think u will be fine ... I rushed w a lower GPA too as a sophomore and I got a house in the top 5 GPAs in the end. I also didn't get cut a lot... now on the other side of recuitment I haven't heard of anything with cutting girls for GPA but they might not let anyone but recuitment board handle that but just go give it ur all it worked for me and I'm in a "good" house

Also as a response from above most places don't have time or the energy to check your GPA , there's over 2000 girls rushing we aren't going to sit there and verify it. In my house we try to get girls whose personalities match us and GPA is more of a red flag if ur a freshman w a lower GPA but we go to UF and most of us have the same range so I don't think it's a huge factor. If u want to feel better when they ask u (why ur rushing as a sophomore) u can sneak something in about having a rough year = rough GPA and u want a support system that u lacked from ur freshman year who can help u and u own sororities have study hall and stuff (:

Also for many sororites not all obviously u get out on academic probation after a certain GPA but I've heard it's when u go below a 2.5 for most and 2.75 for sororities who like keeping a high top GPA or whatever. U almost have a 3.0 and I'm sure if they even look at ur GPA intensely they will see that and u have Fall to bring it up which is when it's going to count in the chapter GPA
