second thoughts

I thought I would love ZTA but I realize now they got no sisterhood lol so I'm greatful I didn't

My top choice all the throughout recruitment was a top tier house (not saying which one because I'm not trying to bash anyone). Made it all the way to prefs. Was completely convinced I was going to put them #1 before the round. Went to my first party at a diff house, liked them a lot. Went to my top choice house, liked them more. Went to my last party (middle tier chapter) and fell completely in love with them. I ended up preffing the middle tier chapter first and was so excited on bid day when I saw that I got the middle tier chapter. I occasionally would have a few "what if" thoughts (What if I put the top tier first? Would I have gotten a bid? Would they have dropped me? Would I even be excited if I saw them on my bid card or would I have secretly hoped they would drop me so at least I'd know for sure?) but after seeing how none of my friends in that chapter really hang out with their own chapter and experiencing my chapter's sisterhood, I know I've made the right choice. I love my chapter regardless of tier and I don't think PNMs should base their prefs decisions on something as superficial as ranks because you will be happiest where you're most comfortable.

I was a legacy. Was dropped in the 3 red round. They were my dream house. I am rushing again to see if I can get a bid.

I thought I would fit in KD but turns out they randomly drop a ton of top tier material girls to make a point and make themselves seem more exclusive during rush..

I thought I was going DDD up to prefs and changed my mind at prefs to another top tier. Something they said to me at prefs reeked of being fake. I never looked back but they are a great house. They just weren't for me personally.

I thought I would be the perfect fit in ZTA, had them up until prefs then got dropped and ended up in a upper middle tier and am so thankful

thought i would love tridelt way more than i actually did. the conversations i had there were so dumb and prefs was the weirdest, funniest, least intimate thing i have ever witnessed
