legacy at upper mid tier sorority

I'm a legacy at a upper mid tier sorority that I would really like to get a bid from and join. Does being a legacy give any advantage?

If you fit in, yes it can slightly help. If you don't, it won't guarantee a bid for you. This is true for every sorority on campus, though.

Many houses will give legacies an automatic invite back to round 2. After that you are on your own. If a legacy attends round 3, they may be looked at with a little more scrutiny because many houses put legacies on the top of the bid list during prefs. If you make it to prefs, your legacy status may guarantee you a bid.
