frat/sorority relations

My bf and I are both rushing and my fear is that we end up pledges in houses that are in different "tiers"
Would sisters or brothers turn against someone or would it cause an issue dating a guy/girl in a fraternity/sorority that are not paired together?? How significant are the pairs that are tied together to begin with ?

No, it doesn't matter honestly. Don't stress your relationship over small things like tiers. You might end up hanging out with different fraternities and sororities, but it shouldn't change how you feel for each other, and the people you call your brothers/sisters shouldn't criticise you for it.

no ones cares. literally at all. the only thing that might suck is you guys wont have socials together but thats it
