is it harder to get a bid to a fraternity or soror
by: FreshmaObviously they are different and I think varies by tiers. In your opinion, is it easier for a guy to get a bid or a girl? Just overal and for top tiers, which one drops more people or which side has a smaller amount of people without bids? Just curious and it's pretty subjective but thanks
#5by: Ok
Almost any guy or girl going through rush can get a bid from at least one frat or sorority, although it may be a bottom one. However, the process for a girl is far more demoralizing. Girls are made to go to sororitys that are going to reject them. Most guys don't go to all frats; they will select those that they have friends in or who they have heard good things about. Nevertheless, because girls go to all the sororitys, they will get a bid if they finish rush. But, guys may not go to a "safety" frat during rush, so they can come up empty handed when rush is over.
