Many freshman are curious about what sorority's "want." Here is your answer.

1. Each house is trying to get the best looking bunch of girls they possibly can. Think of each sorority like a guy. Sometimes they're hoping to get girls out of their league and are rejected. That means look your 100% best. Lose weight. Whiten your teeth. Buy nice clothes. This is reality.

2. Houses usually look for some element of "fit." Looks are #1 but a rager s. florida girl isn't exactly adpi's type and a jesus girl with blonde hair wouldn't go to aopi. Usually its a mutual drop but sometimes the house (or girl) knows better. Try to understand where you fit and make it clear. Don't be confusing.

3. Having a personality of a girl they want to be friends with. Are you dull and shy? This is not the time to be dull and shy. Girls are hoping to meet friends that will fit in and make their college experience meaningful and fun.

4. Potential. The house wants to see you have potential to make them shine - either that you're athletic and can win, are really smart and can boost gpa, want to take leadership roles in the house, or lead campus organizations that can turn around and give other girls positions.
