move in appointments

If you're living on campus, go make sure that you've scheduled your move in appointment before rush! If you haven't and there's no more spots for that day, call the housing office and see if they can help, they're friendly and can usually very helpful. Please don't sleep on a friend's couch/floor for 2 days because you forgot!

Good tip, also, when do girls typically move into their sorority house? If there's room, can you get released from staying in the dorms?

Barring any weird circumstances, you won't be able to move in until your second year. The women apply to live in house early in the year (end of Fall semester for my chapter) and then they pick their rooms in the Spring, and move in over a week before Recruitment starts. New members stay in their dorms.
