help a pnm out
by: MeI see myself wanting either ADPI, DDD or ZTA. I know a few people in each of these chapters but not really well and I feel like I'm attractive enough (sorry if that sounds snobby) to make it into at least one but I hear all these horror stories of girls "slipping through the cracks" during recruitment so I want to know if anyone has any advice they want to share? Good conversation starters? Things not to bring up during rush or to definitely bring up?

Can you say some of your rush convos? How did you answer the how are you question?

Don't really remember specific convos but usually when they'd ask how I was and say I was great, and that I was really happy Rush was much easier than I had planned it to be. And then it went from there. Or I'd mention how hot it was outside(because it's deathly) and that usually got a conversation rolling.

Do you get along well with the girls you know in those houses, or do you see yourself being friends with girls like them? All of us would love to be in a top tier, but I'm sure rush will be a lot more enjoyable (and less stressful) if be yourself and go in with an open mind. If those houses are where you belong, then that's where you'll end up. There's no point in worrying about it

This is so true. There are beautiful women in every house, with many who could easily be mistaken for a member of the houses you named. It doesn't mean that they fell through the cracks, they might just be a better fit at a different house.
