What questions are typically asked during rush? Is it always just small talk? Should PNMs ask questions too?

Round 1: how has your day been so far? What did you do this summer? What did you do in high school? Where are you from? What classes are you taking this year? What are you looking to get involved in at UF? Did you do Summer B?
Round 1 at most houses will be pretty identical, with simple open-ended questions like that. After round 1, conversations will be more personal. Ex. Round 1 you might mention that you're looking to get involved in student gov, so round 2 you might "coincidentally" be paired with someone in student gov....

If you are interested in service projects, asking about each chapter's philanthropy can be a good conversation starter and you can learn a bit more about what they are about.
