OKAY I HAVE A QUESTION. How did everyone start out their conversations during rush. I know you aren't supposed to complain but when the first thing they ask is "How is your day going?" "good/great" is so basic and "hot/stressful" is just complaining. What are some answers people say/ transitions into other topics

Whenever a sorority girl asked me how my day was i always answered that it was long and hot but well worth it. Rush will be a VERY hard week, but as long as you keep an open and positive mind you will be good to go.

My reply was, "It's been so exciting!!" Think of reasons why rush is exciting to you and talk about it; could be meeting new people, seeing the different houses, learning about each house's philanthropy or WHATEVER. Just be positive. Everyone else will say omg its so hot or complain but who wants to listen to complaints ew
