fall rush as a sophomore
by: PNM
Hey guys! I have decided to rush this coming Fall as a sophomore. I am not totally worried about tiers but I do have a few houses in mind, which some are considered "top" and I want to avoid being dropped from those that I have in mind. I have a great GPA (Above 3.8) and I work for the university police department, and I am in 2 honor societies for my major. I know involvement really matters for sororities so since I will be in Gainesville all summer what are some things I should get involved with before rush? What will help me stand out? I'm very social and outgoing so my main concern is the fact that me being a sophomore might hurt me. Also, I'm afraid I am not involved enough.
Thanks in advance!

Also, I was involved in student government in high school, but not at UF. However I want to be an active part of student government here next fall. Would putting my high school SG involvement on my rush resume be irrelevant since I will already be a sophomore or is it worth mentioning?
