Pike dominates ISU fraternities, period. They don't just rush anyone like the all of the other haters seem to think. I know them personally. They represent the best quality of men which is why they have won fraternity of the year now 8 years in a row. No other frat compares to Pike.

It's easy to be good on campus when you have over twice the campus chapter size. They don't really party except for a couple notable parties. Everyone knows them on campus probably because 30 of them eat lunch in the commons in the same place everyday. Asked someone if a person was an alumni or active and he didn't know...how the hell do you not know the actives in your chapter honestly, I can see maybe not knowing his standing (brother at large or inactive) but come on. Brotherhood is bad.

Last year would have given them all 5's but they have started to lack in some areas that take effort, particularly scholarship. Need some new leadership other than the president, there seems to be a lack of respect.

If you want a bid, head to the campus gift shop and slip that bid card right into your cargo shorts free of charge. Chances are you will be lucky to meet half of your "brothers"; these boys infest campus like a heard of field mice. I call it how I see it; PIKE is a club my friends.

They bid a ton of guys. It's easy to have a huge pledge class when you give out a huge number of bids. They definitely have a handful of above average quality guys, but have a much greater number of worthless guys. Many of them say they'd de-pledge in a heartbeat. If they could fix their brotherhood problems, all their others would disappear as well. Until they pick quality over quantity, they're gonna be in the same boat.

Alot of people talk badly about pike. The saddest part of it is that its all true. This is a club, not a fraternity. Half of the brothers dont event know each other and some of the pikes on my floor were some of the weirdest kids I have ever met. They dont seem to get that the reason they have so many members is because they give a bid to anyone with a pulse. Some advice to incoming freshman: if you want to be greek but every other house turns you down. Just show up to one pike rush event.
