GPhi Snap Bid or COB
by: SnapI just got a call that I got a snap bid from GPhi, I declined because I didn’t truly feel at home there. What are the odds I can get into a mid tier house during COB, especially if I had them up until sisterhood? Please lmk 🙏

That's too bad. Your chance for a COB is about zero. The houses that cut you are not going to turn around and offer you a bid and there are hardly going to be any openings this year.
COB does not exist because pnm's didn't get what they want, it exists solely for the sororities' benefit to allow them to either fill up to Quota if they didn't get there or to fill up to Chapter Total Membership as determined by panhellenic.
There are never very many COB spots AT ALL and this year there will be even fewer because ADPi is establishing and panhellenic will set Total lower than before or put a hold on it altogether to help them establish their first MC.
You either check out ADPi or understand that you have no chance of being in a sorority this year.

Realistically? No. There are very few cob spots and even less this year. You won’t get a “higher” chapter because honestly those chapters don’t really ever do cob. You should go back to a chapter that wanted you imo instead of trying to rush one that already dropped you lol like what

The girls at gphi are very nice, genuine, and kind. I did not have a bad experience there, and I dropped because I did not feel that I would fit into their house; not ranking. I think dropping a sorority because of a rank is so stupid, and shows how immature some people are. I’m doing adpi instead

...uh, that is not an automatic.
When are new house comes on campus, they usually try to take an even number of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, so that everyone does not all graduate at the same time in a few years.
It will definitely be more competitive for freshman.
It is not a sure thing.

I definitely agree. I think that a lot of people have been very rude towards all the houses at osu based off a ranking. The girls there are very nice, welcoming , and kind. I don’t see the issue with them.
