Sorority dues????
by: PNMI’m rushing next semester and saw the pha posts about every sorority, is there a reason why some sorority dues are so low?? i noticed kd is extremely low compared to the rest and even pi phi is low. do they not have as many events? any info would be helpful!

There’s a lot that goes into dues and every sorority does it differently - it mostly depends on their nationals and the different payments they require - then on top of that housing fees, social, philanthropy etc. Also, many that have lower live-out dues usually have higher live-in dues

I wouldn’t say they have less events per say just lower funding or budgets for them or just different allocation for it. Some of the sororities that are more expensive do have more sisterhoods however and more organized events for parents weekend or split it up for just dads and moms.

No they’re not suspended for hazing. That was in the past and already closed. Check the sfl conduct history on their website to see who is and isn’t currently in trouble. As you’ll see, pi phi isn’t listed as being in trouble currently. Only tke and acacia are.

if you knew how to actually read that form, you’d see pi phi is on probation until the end of next semester for hazing. tke and acacia are under investigation right now, yes, but other chapters are still experiencing punishments.

it’s crazy as a pnm that certain srats like pi phi just hide stuff like this. they’re suspended for hazing and can’t have events so why would anyone in their right mind want to join? but yet we can’t ask abt it
