Anyone here know much about Greek history at OSU?

I know there was a big shift maybe 5 or 10 years ago. Lots of houses got suspended and left, some came back. Some never did.

I know there are houses on 15th that used to be frats or sororities and now they are apartments. And some houses switched who is in them. Like, the Gamma house used to be another sorority, or fraternity. And didnt a few fraternities and sororities move?

Just wondering if anyone old here knows who used to be in which house back in the 80s or 90s? Stuff like that?

The FIJI house belonged to ADPi from 1949 to 2002. ADPi would love to come back if OSU expands.

Pi Kappa Alpha used to be Lambda Chi Alpha. And Phi Mu was two houses up from them in what is now apartments I think in the big brick house.

Yeah there used to be a TKE idk what happened to them tho. Heard they were really cool too. Wonder why they didn’t try and keep going after getting kicked

Gphi's house was AEPi's if I remember correctly. AOPi was in the house Zeta demolished. AOPi moved into ATO's old house. I think there was another sorority by AChiO.

Sigma Kappa was on campus until the late 90s. SDT closed in 2000. ASA, DPhiE, Phi Mu Phi Sig Sig, and TPA all had a chapter. I think the only sororities that haven't been at OSU at one time or another are AST and Tri Sig.

If you scroll back on this website, there used to be a “big six.” These were considered the top houses. They were: pi phi, theta, dg, kappa, kd, and aphi.
