Congrats to the girls who pick a non "top tier"
by: Rank
This site is cancer. The rankings and categorization not only divide everyone, but it causes gut wrenching insecurity, self doubt, and feelings of not being "worthy" of the "top tiers".
There are girls out there who dropped because they didn't get the house they view as top tier. Many base this on nothing more than the reputation they read about on this hellish website. They don't know the girls in these houses they have deemed superior. They just know "everyone says they are the best" and don't have the self confidence to join a house that falls outside of that magic tier.
Here is a secret. NO ONE CARES what the rankings of your sorority are. You join your house and you make friends you have the rest of your life, and this middle school level social tiering stops forever. 90% of the people you will see every day won't know a DG from an AGD from an AOPi. They really don't care because most people have better things to worry about.
Not even the girls in the houses care. 90% of the girls in all the houses are nice, smart, good human beings. They don't look down on you because of what house you choose. They joined the best house for them, and they aren't looking down on anyone. Of course there are exceptions. But every house has some girls who are nasty, or some girls who hate top tiers just for being "mean girls". None of it is right, and all of it is the exception not the rule.
So all you girls who ignored the crap you read about the top tiers and the bottom tiers...congratulations. You should be proud of yourselves because you just improved your college experience by joining a house full of girls that will be your friends for a lifetime. You will have a full social life, you will meet people, you will have the most fun you have ever had in your lives, and not a single one of you will care what trolls on the internet ranked your house the semester you pledged.
And if you are a girl who dropped because your house options weren't popular enough...I hope you take a second to reevaluate how you approach things in life. College will be a long and sad trip for you if you stay that closed minded.
