Message To Actives & PNMs:

To some of you: stop being so fake. Some PNMs were silent in houses you didn't even try to get to know in the first MTC round. Same with Actives who literally didn't even try to know some PNMs.
Most of the best conversations came from 'mid' and 'bottom tiers' while a lot of the Actives in the 'top' were so quiet and did not give the same energy back, ON THE FIRST DAY [MTCs].
Its a long process but PNMs be open minded and same goes for Actives. tired of seeing the 'top tiers' only recruiting blond blue eyes, have some diversity won't ya? tired of hearing from PNMs 'ew no they're bottom'.
If that applies to you, you don't know the true meaning of sisterhood and definitely hope you realize that pretending is going to get you no where.

as a pnm, this is definitely what pissed me off during MTC. some top tiers were quiet af bc i knew they stalked my insta & i'm not some skinny blonde girl, so they didn't want me (we all can guess the chapter). makes me hate them, but i also did talk to a lot of bottoms that were quiet too.

as someone from a ‘middle’ tier sorority, the most unattractive thing in any pnm is when it is clear they have no interest in the conversation and doesn’t even try to talk or continue the convo. This is regardless of what your instagram looks like. If you only show interest in conversations with certain sororities, you’re spreading yourself way too thin and if you’re dropped by them (they drop pretty girls too) and try to rush for middle tier sororities later (during informal) we remember how you acted during recruitment and will not ask for you to come back.

honestly, i just went through MTC and i was interested in every sorority & wanted to learn about each one since i wanted to go in with an open mind & i unfortunately got dropped from every top & mid. will probably COB since i actually don't really like any of the chapters i have left (due to not really connecting with them) & i'm kinda worried that no one will want me although i feel like i had good conversations & asked a lot of questions to get to know each chapter

So you think you are too good for the other houses? Then you are the problem. Stay away from Greek life.

all this person said was that she didn't connect with the houses that she talked to that she still has. she never said they were crappy houses or anything? you're allowed to go through rush and think that you don't connect with houses. yikes. some people on this website take everything out of context. she even said she is worried to cob because she thinks houses she connected with and could see herself in won't want her.

I would keep going, and give the houses that did ask you back a second chance. It may have just been the active you talked to, give another a chance. No harm in it.

So sorry to hear your experience from both top and bottom houses. I know that all the houses have very different people too and it depends on who you get. I actually know a few people from before they Rushed, in those Top Tiers and they were sweet and amazing, but yes they did fit the criteria for "skinny, blonde, and blue eyed".
