Alpha Phi explain???

by: toe

Why is APhi ranked so high when the gave out snap bids and did COB immediately after recruitment?? Seems like they didn’t get their numbers after all and became desperate

I think almost every chapter gave out some snap/ COB bids this semester. Not 100% sure, but a ton of PNMs dropped recruitment.

This, and also I can guarantee there were some girls who were turned off to them for national controversy reasons since they were coming up around that time.

They have done this the past few years. I think they’re really trying to fight for that top spot and they end up being way too restrictive on who they except and then when people pref other houses they have lower numbers than they need and have to accept more

THey have their girls drop out or not go through recruitment at all then snap, COB them. Easier to get who they want, and those girls don't have to go through recruitment.

Clearly you don’t know how recruitment works because you can’t just decide to be under total and do snaps or COB, you have to offer bids to people that they don’t accept or who ranked another chapter over you. If you haven’t met bid quota then you can snap. If your chapter still isn’t the same size as the average after that, then you can COB too. It’s not some clever strategy to not have people rank you on the last day or accept your bids
