The specifics for each chapter on voting and tie-breakers tend to be ritual-based and private. You'll find out after initiation or next fall.

Every sorority has different private rituals. In some, every member in the chapter votes on every pnm, where in others, only the members who talk to the pmn in question vote. Some chapters have a designated committee to choose members. So just because ONE girl didn't click with you does NOT mean you won't be asked back.

Some chapters have the active member who talked to you give you some kind of score. When you talk to multiple girls, you might get scored by all of them. As the rounds progress you will have all your scores averaged together. If one member likes you and another doesn’t, you will probably just have an average score. In the beginning it is easy to be asked back with average scores, but as rounds are longer the scores are more important.

Also, if you don’t think you click with any of the girls after 2 or 3 rounds, you probably aren’t a good fit for the house. Chapters that know what they are doing will typically have multiple different girls talk to you coming from different backgrounds and maybe friend groups in the house. Not necessarily cliques. You’re not going to be best friends with every single member, just as long as you feel comfortable and vibe with the whole attitude of the chapter.

Be aware that they’re just as nervous as you are :) ALWAYS go with your gut! You don’t want to be in a house where you feel like members won’t like you. You want to be in a house where you are comfortable! Talk to your rho gam, or any rho gam. They’re trained to help.
