I don't know why they get so much hate at this point. I'm a senior in a "top tier" sorority and my house always got along with them and never thought they acted any worse or sloppier than other houses here. Besides, why does anyone care? They are practically starting over with new girls anyway. Most have graduated except the current seniors.

Apparently I have the unpopular opinion on this tread, but coming from a girl in a chapter who voted against KKG, it's not time yet. Their actions are the end made the entire Greek community look bad st OSU. Next year a passing vote would be more appropriate because we can grow, but everyone who was a freshman when Kappa was here and remember it will be graduating. We don't want to bring it back when people still first handedly remember them. Sorry, I'd rather see a greek community opportating the way it should, not just letting them back on early because people don't care.

I support KKG coming back - eventually. They already have a large presence in Columbus and would be a strong asset to keep having at OSU.
However, it is clear from the talk on this site that they would still be living in the shadow of their former reputation, which would not be a good thing. They need to come back with a new start so that they can be a better asset to PHA than they were in the past. And lot of their alums in the area (and 5th year seniors still on campus) would still promote the old behaviors, so I think they just need more time before they come back. Plus we just can't keep adding new sororitys every other year - shakes things up too much.
Personally, I think 2020 would be a good year for them to come back.

But no one can colonize until kappa recolonizes. They have to be the first ones back from 2018 and on. Not that it would happen but if the other chapters said no for 5 years, then there would be no new house for 5 years. So next year all the chapters will have the same conversation again on if pha should let kappa recolonize or not.
