recruitment

Hi, so I just got an email from NPC saying the four sororities doing informal/snap bids are AGD, ChiO, Dz and AOPi. Whats the next step I take to join one of these sororities? Am I allowed to contact more than one?

I am in one of those sororities. We started giving out snap bids the day after bid day, and we are still extending some currently, but for snap bids we have a list of girls that we consider eligible based on how many rounds they went through with us and what we thought about them when they are here. For my house at least it is not like a whole sorority decision who gets them but is delegated to certain girl(s) in positions and our advisiors. I do know that we are allowed to suggest certain girls we really liked or we know for snap bidding so if you know girls in those chapters I would suggest you let them know you'd be interested. As for informal, there isnt usally much for informal til fall, or at least my chapter wont do it til fall, after seeing how many members we get from snapbidding and affilates next fall.

Informal and snap bidding aren't the same thing. Those houses are doing informal

Houses get hundreds of emails from pnms asking about informal. Most are just selecting new memebers based on chapter recommendations, so unless you have a friend in the chapter you don't really have a chance

Email their recruitment chairs and ask for information about informal event dates! I know AOPi put their dates on their social media already

You can look at any and all of them. Not just one. Email the recruitment chairs if there is any conflicts or if you want more information. I'd email the recruitment chairs regardless because it shows that you are truly interested

If you email the recruitment chair you can set up a meeting with one of the girls usually
