Sigma kappa has brought me life long friends and my time spent there will never be forgotten! I had so many opportunities to grow and learn! It pushed me to try things out of my comfort zone which overall helped me become a better person!!

This is another good sorority of which MSU has several. It has been said that all the sororities at MSU are good because there aren't very many and a lot of girls want to be in sororities. I don't know if that's altogether true, but the Sig Kap's are good.

I used to be in this sorority for a few years and I absolutely loved it when I first joined and when I first got to live in the house. Over time this absolutely was not the case. Their recruitment is completely calculated and they donโt even let active members rate girls high. At meetings everyone is super disrespectful. Youโd think being on exec youโd be close with the girls absolutely not the case. Everything with this chapter is a mess. The president is so wish washy and us always change her answers to stuff and talking about girls behind their back. Out of the pcโ22 about 20+ girls dropped with in the first few weeks. When girls drop they cut out the parts of the letter that they donโt want people to hear. Almost every letter read in the past school year was because girls werenโt happy with how the sorority was being ran and how itโs just not the sisterhood that it used to be. None of the girls want to get involved or do anything so they had to start making everything mandatory and if you didnโt show up you got a hefty fine. They wonโt even let you miss required events for work and a lot of girls pay for the sorority on their own. Super upsetting

Some of the brattiest and most cliquey girls EVER! Everyone that I know in Sig K has dropped bc of how uninvolved and rude they are to each other and other sororities. A small handful are fine but itโs probably bc other sororities dropped themโฆ

Going through recruitment you may feel a genuine connection to this chapter and the girls within it. After a couple years in the chapter I can tell you this is not the case. The sisterhood is broken and heโs been for a while now, you are only treated as a sister if you are in one of the cliques or close with exec; otherwise, consider yourself forgotten. Many of the decisions made within the chapter are political and not made off of actual reason or standard procedure. The rules are pretty lenient compared to other sororities on campus, which is why the girls appear messy.
