rushing as a junior, but graduating in 2 years
by: Too old????I want to rush as a junior but how likely is it that I will even get a bid. I basically took a year and a half off. Someone in my family died. I ended up taking a medical leave because it affected me so much. Then I took a year off to find myself. I did a coop and an internship. I traveled the world. I took some winter classes. I’m still behind in my major now. I have over a 3.0. I’ll be coming back this spring. I want to rush because I want to enjoy the rest of my college life. All of my friends are graduating this year. My entire social life from before I left is going to be gone by the end of the year. I know a have a super bubbly personality and people always ask me if I’m in a sorority. I look like your basic sorority girl. My ex was in a frat. I’ll be rushing at 21. I know that’s old to be rushing, but I’ll be a full time student and I’ll be graduating with people who are sophomores now. I realized that life is short and I just want to enjoy it and have fun. I want to enjoy miami. That’s it. Someone tell me the truth.

It’s probably gonna be a mixed bag for you. There will plenty of houses who are more concerned with growth and numbers. So if you’re a good dude, I think you can get bids to those places. However, more established chapters may rather focus on filling their class with young guys.
