I was in this meeting and can say that this is 100% true!

First of all, the University can’t pull a charter. A charter is the documentation that a chapter is recognized and operates according to a national organization’s bylaws, so only national can pull a charter. Second, it is the Dean of Students and Office of Community Standards who suspends recognition of a Greek organization. Third, Appendix E of the IFC/Panhel has social policy outlines the sanctions for violating the IFC/Panhellenic risk management policy, the last one being removal from Panhellenic/IFC. A whole lot of other things would happen first, unless an incident was so shockingly bad it warranted immediate suspension—probably the kind of incident that ends up in the newspaper. Conclusion: you either don’t know what you’re talking about or you’re making up rumors for drama.
