does it matter what tier i go?
by: helpI expected myself to really get along with zeta, dz, and kappa girls, but I dont. I got asked back to all of them for philanthropy round, but I also went back to kd, tri delta, adpi, and g phi. I was actually able to talk to the kd and tri delta girls without feeling uncomfortable and I liked them more. Does it really matter what tier I end up in? Im conflicted because I feel like I should want to go with the higher tier sororities. any suggestions?

The best advice for recruitment is to keep an open mind. That's because before meeting the girls you never know who you are going to click with. This sisterhood is for life so you definitely want to find girls you can be yourself around. Ones you can see yourself hanging out with in pjs and no makeup. Ones that really make you feel at home. Rankings on this site are stupid and superficial. The house everyone feels at home at is different for everyone so no rank is one size fits all. Choose who you like the best! Every chapter here fundraises, parties, studies, and chills. Recruitment is just picking who you wanna do that with :)

Absolutely not. Go where your heart is. It isn't high school. Once you get into your group, you will be so busy making lifelong friends and having fun, you won't even care about tiers. Groups like Tri Delta are also really big nationally, so even if you move after college, you will have alums in your new area to help you transition. Half the people who post this crap every day aren't even Greek anyway.

Go with where you feel comfortable. If you don't vibe and feel like you can't be 'yourself' then you will have an uncomfortable 3+ years in your house. For lack of a better description it should feel like 'you are coming home' and not like an unnatural visit to a relatives house that you have never met. Hope this helps! The people that shop for a house based on rank truly live to regret it as they never have the common ground with the house that they might have had at another house. Keep it real!
