Absolutely not. Go where your heart is. It isn't high school. Once you get into your group, you will be so busy making lifelong friends and having fun, you won't even care about tiers. Groups like Tri Delta are also really big nationally, so even if you move after college, you will have alums in your new area to help you transition. Half the people who post this crap every day aren't even Greek anyway.

Go with where you feel comfortable. If you don't vibe and feel like you can't be 'yourself' then you will have an uncomfortable 3+ years in your house. For lack of a better description it should feel like 'you are coming home' and not like an unnatural visit to a relatives house that you have never met. Hope this helps!
