what to do if you never got a bid this semester
by: jordynI didn’t have a lot of connections first semester and expected this week to work well (some way) in my favor. Any ideas on what I and others should do

If you didn’t get a bid, definitely try it again next year. I’m sure you’re feeling disappointed but just try to meet some new people in your classes and make an effort to show you wanna rush next year (if you do) by hanging out with people and making yourself known. When rush comes back around again you’ll have more people able to vouch for you. It’s all about people knowing you, and the more they know about you the better because it’s tough to convince a group of people to gives bid to a kid that you don’t know very well.
Those are the best next steps you can take for now. Plenty of people rush after their freshman year though so it’s nothing to be worried about. You’ll end up in the right place eventually!

Is this a actual thing? Also, how long is a good amount of time to reach out ?
