a message to pnm's

If I had come across this site prior to rushing my sorority, I really doubt I would have decided to go through recruitment. Greek rank is a platform consumed with hateful girls who enjoy bashing on others due to their own lack of self confidence. The people posting on this site create a community very similar to middle school. Luckily, I did not come across this site prior to my decision to rush, and I am happy to say that these toxic, negative posts have not been representative of my greek experience at all. My sorority has brought me lifelong friends and a true sense of community and support that I never had before college. I have found that greek life at Miami is a community, and I have met amazing inspiring women in many different organizations. I advise incoming freshman to ignore this site, and the negativity it creates. Go through rush with an open mind, and remember that each greek organization is unique and wonderful (:
