politics and rush
by: politicsDo many sororitys have any girls who are right leaning??? Obviously i know not to talk about politics during rush but as a conservative coming from the south I was just wondering if it was mostly liberals or if theres a good mix of both parties

Going to college you're going to learn to interact with liberals, and that makes you a more well rounded and educated person. You will not be able to use political belief to decide a sorority, there are conservatives and liberals in every sorority and none are pinned by political beliefs because miami girls come from everywhere and have a wide array of beliefs.

As a conservative in a sorority as long as you don't talk about anything in rush you will be fine. Every sorority has a wide array of political leanings but there will be people in there who align with yours. I've also made friends with people whose views are definitely the opposite of mine and it's not a big deal. Only advice is if you join a conservative organization on campus you will be asked about your involvement on campus during rush, simply say something like "a political organization".
