pref round
by: PNMSo I’m guessing that the selective sororities have double the amount of women attending pref round as they have bids to give. How can PNMs read between the lines (pick up on hints) if we are going to be high on their list or not? Should we just come out and ask them?

It's literally impossible to know. Only the sisters who are on the recruitment committee or helping out the recruitment chair know who sits where on their list, and those girls aren't the ones talking to PNMs. If you come out and ask them it's going to make for a really awkward conversation because they're not going to have an answer to give you.

Honestly, don't even waste your energy worrying about it. It shouldn't impact your decision of how you rank houses. Rank the houses you really see yourself in highest. Period. If you like a house but think they wont bid you so you rank them lower and you are wrong (since there is really no way of knowing until after matches are made and its too late) you might not get a house you wanted and who wanted you too.
