sorority - i have no rec letters

Nope! Being a legacy gives girls an automatic invite to round 2, and for some houses (depending on nationals policies) they get an automatic bid if they make it to pref, but it's not a guarantee by any means. Letters of rec are good to have, but you can easily get cut after round 1 from houses even if you have them (I had 3 letters of rec to one sorority bc my aunt and cousins were all members but was cut after open house when the convo I had was really awkward). Tons of girls go through with absolutely nothing and end up in great houses.

If you fit in a house, the sorority will want you! If you don’t, it does not matter if you have a recommendation. You belong elsewhere & you’ll get cut. So don’t worry about legacy or recommendations... just present your Best YOU.
