what do you wish you knew when you were rushing?

i can def say that the sorority girls on the other side of recruitment are just as nervous as you!! they're trying to impress you just as much as you're trying to impress them so don't feel intimidated. they're freaking out too haha

Don’t seem overly excited or happy, be chill and be yourself. Ask questions about what made them join their chapter, be honest, don’t dress in a way you probably wouldn’t just for recruitment, overall be you

If it's the end of the day, please be patient with the actives if they seem tired or a little out of it! It's likely they've had to do more parties than you (I once had to go all of second round with only a single party off) and small talking for 14 hours is really exhausting for some of us, and there's a good chance we might have to stay even longer to practice for next round.

Also don't be afraid to ask questions! Yes, we're trying to get to know you, but you're also coming to see what we're all about, and even though the videos and presentations and everything are great you're not going to get a personal look into the sorority unless you take the time to see why the sisters joined. I remember asking one girl why she chose that sorority, which I wasn't crazy about, and seeing what she loved about it and how these connections changed her life kinda switched it around for me.
