Girl, just because you didn't get into a sorority doesn't mean anything about you as a person. There are plenty of other friends to make an experiences to have that don't rely on the Greek society. Here at CCU, the Greek population only makes up 10% of the students. Why are you letting yourself be so put down by this? You are probably an incredible and beautiful girl... step outside the boundaries of this experience and make something happen!

What part of I want this so bad does anyone not get. I have met dozens of people in different organizations and none of them like me. If its because I am a little bit of a chatty Kathy than I need to tone down, because I want this because my high school life was not the way I wanted it to be, and this will make my life better. I am tired of everyone saying just join the other organizations when I have nothing in common with the other organizations.

I am in a Panhellenic sorority and this made me so sad. I am so sorry you are not having the experience you hoped for. I want you to know that you should never blame yourself and think you're not good enough to be in a sorority, that is not the case. Did you feel a connection with this group of women? If not, try formal recruitment again! Sometimes you just need a few times to figure out what went wrong. If you're chatty, maybe it's because you're nervous. Try to talk maybe a little less and ask the sisters a question if they seem to be shy. Be yourself. You are enough. Trust me. If all else fails, maybe Greek life isn't for you. There are other organizations like Greek life at Coastal, with the same sisterhood like qualities! Don't give up girl! Any sorority would be lucky to have you!

I am also part of a Panhellenic sorority, and I think that if you want to be a part of an organization so badly, bashing them on the Internet is not the way to go. You want to be in so bad, but you say that everything about them is awful? With formal recruitment coming up, maybe try to be a bit more open minded and try all the sororities instead of just one. You might be surprised with what you find. Good luck!

I don't know why people hate these girls! So many cute girls, some aren't but all sororities have those. These girls are sweet and nice and I can't say that for really any other sororities. They have a good sisterhood and I haven't met one that I haven't liked!

These girls still have a bit of a ways to go, but if you've been here long enough you can see they've made great strides already. Whoever it was that said they've had bad recruitments clearly hasn't seen how small they used to be, and for all the people complaining about people getting asked back even though they dropped them-- that's not their fault. That's how that computer system works, its out of their control. Think about it: why would you want someone in your room that doesn't want to be?

I don't get it I've gone out for this one sorority four times, and did not receive a bid I am beyond pissed worst recruitment ever. The girls there barely want to talk it is ridiculous. This is why I am transferring none of the other sororities like me, its not the gpa than what do they want. I know I am a fun loving person, and I so have what it takes, because Ive never wanted to be a part of something so bad than anyone else.
